Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She held the post from 2021 until 2022. As a member of the Democratic Party, she previously worked in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) and the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013-2015) as well as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki contributed to CNN's political coverage of 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her career as an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and later became governor of Iowa. Psaki was John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki was the communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until the year 2006. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. 20 February, 2013, Psaki became the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. [20] Her hiring in the Department of State fueled speculation that she could replace White House Press Secretary Jay Carney as he left for the White House,[21] but on May 30th the 30th of May, 2014 it was announced Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She was named Communications Director in the White House and continued to do so until the end in 2015.
